The Monastery App

In cooperation with the Lower Austrian start-up company beyondarts, an audio-visual compilation of the most famous exhibits of Klosterneuburg Monastery was developed as an app guide for smart phones and tablets. Adding background stories to the information provided by the existing audio guides, this app complements the services of the monastery.

All the visual and acoustic information contained in the app guide can be retrieved via interactive detail buttons, in German and English. The app guide also works offline: once downloaded on a mobile device, the complete content is available anytime, anywhere and even without an internet connection. Currently, 12 themes are included.

The app guide can be downloaded from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) for € 3.99 (Highlight 1 can be tested for free). Enter “beyondarts” in the stores and download the app including the guide.
