We are very committed to making Klosterneuburg Abbey transparent and accessible for visitors of many different backgrounds and ages, arousing their curiosity to learn more about Austrian art, culture and history.

By means of attractive themed tours, Klosterneuburg Abbey presents itself in all its variations: as an active abbey of the Augustinian Canons, as an imperial residence, as Austria’s oldest winery, and as a preserver and collector of religious and modern art.

Designed especially for Austria Guides, the Abbey & Art Tour offers you the opportunity to select highlights from this variety and present them in an enjoyable atmosphere, adapted to the individual requests, wishes and interests of your guests.

As we value your work very highly and are interested in good cooperation with you, we have drawn up texts with in-depth information on the themed tours, complemented by regularly updated details regarding the practical procedure for a visit.

ACCREDITATION


During the accreditation process, it is important to us to familiarize you with the latest practical guidance procedures.
Please also take advantage of this offer if you are already accredited but have not guided with us for some time! Participation in one of the events at least every 3 years is a prerequisite for maintaining accreditation from 2025. In order to ensure a good transition to this regulation, we are offering more accreditation dates this year.

Accreditation dates at Klosterneuburg Abbey 2024:
Wednesday, 31.1. at 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday, 27.2. at 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday, 20.3. at 10:30 a.m.
Thursday, 18.4. at 10:30 am
Wednesday, 26.6. at 09:30 a.m.
Thursday, 24.10. at 09:30 a.m.
Thursday, 21.11. at 10:30 a.m.

Registration for accreditation is possible at groups@stift-klosterneuburg.at. The meeting point is 15 minutes before the start of accreditation at the Sala terrena visitor reception. Please allow approx. 2 hours for the appointments.

Once you have been accredited, you are welcome to prepare your tour on site at any time. You will then receive a general key for the individual areas of the monastery at the visitor reception. It is essential to register a group in advance at groups@stift-klosterneuburg.at.
